DÜsseldorfer Senfrostbraten

I stumbled across this excellent dish on television when I saw a famous TV host and a former figure skating star from Düsseldorf preparing the latter’s favorite dish on camera. As a lover of Rhenish cuisine and of mustard as a spice, my mouth watered even as I watched. The next day I set about cooking the dish myself and have remained a fan of this Düsseldorf specialty ever since: entrecote steaks spread with an onion-mustard mixture on one side, fried in the pan and served in an exquisite sauce consisting of the meat juices with cream and apple puree. Wowwww!!!
